Comment Guidelines

Comments do not necessarily represent the views and opinions of Educate Truth or the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are a supporting ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist church. We seek to be fully supportive of all Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist church because we believe these fundamental beliefs are the most accurate expression of the fundamental teachings of the Word of God. We further seek to encourage faith in our Creator God and the written Word which He has given for our instruction. Please inform us if you see anything on our site that appears to be out of harmony with our stated philosophy. Please make sure your comments follow our guidelines:

• All comments should be relevant to the topics addressed in the post.
• All comments should be civil. Personal attacks and inflammatory behavior will not be tolerated. If you want to praise or criticize, give examples as to why it is good or bad. General attacks on a person or idea will not be tolerated. If you are are attacked, don\'t respond in-kind. Alert staff to the situation by email.
• No belittling of individual members, their character, or their motives. Don
• Only rebut issues, not the members who write them.
• You cannot post on the threads personal differences, arguments, rehashing of alleged grievances or disputes; or publicly complaining about posts or threads submitted in forums throughout the site.
• Your real name is preferred, but we do allow monikers.
• An authentic email address is required.

The above rules will be enforced by the moderators. Enforcement may take the form of editing, deleting, warnings, and, as a last resort, suspension or banning. The moderators will apply the rules as they judge to be of benefit to their various threads, according to its tone and conditions.
