La Sierra University takes legal action against Lasierrauniversity.netLSU takes legal action against the owner of LaSierraUniversity.net for trademark infringement in domain name. The move came 6 days too late as the site had been closed down due to copyright issues with Adventist Review. LSU made no contact with the owner of LaSierraUniversity.net prior to taking legal action. La Sierra accuses LaSierraUniversity.net of being “intentionally deceptive,” causing confusion among “students, alumni, donors, and other visitors to the site regarding actual sponsorship.” It was called a “deceptive website.”
