I received a note from a pastor the other day asking where Southern Adventist University stood in relation to the issues related to SDA fundamental belief #6 Creation. (All the beliefs are found at: http://www.adventist.org/beliefs/fundamental/. Sometimes when you are so close to a campus you assume that everyone knows what you know. That is too much to assume and so let me share what I do know. Southern Adventist University faculty who work with our students through the School of Religion and in the Biology Department fully support and teach “In six days the Lord made “the heaven and the earth” and all living things upon the earth, and rested on the seventh day of that first week.” This belief and teaching is fundamental to the Three Angels Messages (Revelation 14:6-14) and to the message and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and Southern Adventist University. Should you wish further information you may wish to note a statement on the School of Religion website: https://www.southern.edu/religion/Pages/facultystatementoncreation.aspx (Read Original)
