Comment on Creeds and Fundamental Beliefs by Ben B..

I agree with the article. Let’s maintain order and accountability in God’s church! We uphold the standard of God’s word in our church entirely. The church is to be the “pillar and foundation of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:16). The literal 7 day week from Creation, and the Sabbath are Bible teaching…plain and simple. It’s not merely some person’s conjecture. We have every right and necessity, as God’s people, and His church for the last days to UPHOLD the Bible’s true and clear teachings. If some individuals want to distort or misrepresent those Bible teachings, the church must, needs to, and shall hold them accountable. If they don’t like it, they can go start their own church of “so and so says” religion, and mix whatever kind of philosophy and heresy they want to. But don’t call it 7th-day Adventism. That’s the farthest thing from it.

La Sierra Univeristy Fires Dr. Lee Greer; Signs anti-Creation Bond
There’s a few rats in the house, and somebody is coming down for this! Jesus tells us there is nothing secret that shall not be known. It will be proclaimed from the housetops. Our sins will find us out. And I think more than a few have just been found out. May Christ’s truth be uplifted, and may His cause go forward. But for those who dishonor Christ and jeopardize His cause, I pray you’ll be shown for what you are doing. []

In Christ,

Changing the Wording of Adventist Fundamental Belief #6 on Creation
Again, thank you to Sean and the other contributors to this website. Thank you for your dedication, research, and continual efforts to keep an intelligent and informing light upon all the ins/outs and various issues wrapped up in this controversy. These matters are SO important and historical! Something is going down big time. And I pray that the truth of God, His book, and Historical Adventism only go up! Let’s hold onto the faith and contend for that which was once and for all delivered to the saints. Blessings and prayers!! Yes, let’s be clear in our FB#6, etc. statements about what the Bible itself is also crystal clear about. Unfortunately, there are those who seek to “twist” the real meaning of Scripture “to their own destruction” (2 Pet. 3:16). For this very reason, our church-approved instructors and organizational entities must stand the testing of even more crystal clear airtight language that makes abundantly clear our church’s position, belief, and expression of what the Bible is actually teaching. Those who would twist Scripture, probably might tend to twist other things as well, but we can make it harder for them for sure!!! They’ll have to be an outright liar or raving lunatic to deny or twist the clear language we ought to be using to express our Biblical views. Which of course needs to be grounds for expulsion from the church’s ranks of approved instructors.

LSU student petition surfaces
@Professor Kent-I’m sorry to hear that you feel this website to be inappropriate. The Bible says, “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgressions, and the house of Jacob their sins.” (Isaiah 58:1). Jesus said, “…that which you have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops” (Luke 12:3). The problem with this absolutely wicked world is that no sinner wants their wicked deeds to be uncovered. Jesus said, “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” (John 3:19-21).

When someone signs a petition to have an action done, that means they are putting their name their because they want to see the necessary actions taken. In order to get that necessary action taken, the petition must go to the appropriate bodies. If those bodies refuse to hear the petition, then it must be taken to a higher counsel to get the action taken care of. Those names are evidence of a cry that landed upon the deaf ears of a perverse institution that would take no action. Signatures are there because those students want the action taken to correct this insidious and evil situation. Action is being taken, and PRAISE GOD that their voices are finally being heard by an audience who is committed to rectify this terrible situation.

Thank you again to Educate Truth for bringing these issues out into the open and allowing the concerned SDA public to understand the plight of these hurting students, along with the historical, and on-going apostate situation with La Sierra. This issue has been in silence and darkness for far too long. We pray the wickedness of deceitful men will be fully uncovered, reprimanded, and rectified in this matter. “Let us earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints.” (Jude 1:3). Let not the voice of Elijah ever be silenced, though Jezebel herself should complain that her wicked deeds have been exposed. If these people refuse to teach truth, and the school cannot be redeemed or re-claimed, then praise God that every soul be aware of it. They can deceive no more. Let an orange be called an orange and an apple an apple. If I had any, I’d never send my kids to a corrupt and deceitful school like that. And for that matter, you can be absolutely sure, that I will never allow or advise one of my newly converted Bible students to attend that school. It requires so much time, effort, and prayers to win one soul to the truth. To hell if I’m going to send one of my precious converts to a rogue organization like that which would just as soon send them out the back door into the world again, without God, and without hope. I love my students too much, and so does God. Thank you Educate Truth for making these matters so clear to us all. Let the truth always be known and taught! And let us fight for it to be so.

The Metamorphosis of La Sierra University: an eye-witness account
@Ron Stone. Yes, those names you mentioned from PUC are among the ones I know of who are promoting the full acceptance of the [X] agenda at PUC. [edit]

The Metamorphosis of La Sierra University: an eye-witness account
Just a note of affirmation. I still appreciate the Educate Truth updates on this situation with LSU. Yes, our Leaders have addressed the Creation issue head-on at the recent General Conference Session and affirmed our stand as God’s people, but what is going to happen to see that every loose end is tied up. I don’t want to see this issue fall into darkness and be forgotten about. I want to hear about all the developments towards the full resolve of this horrible situation. Any school that bears the name SDA, and finds support and recognition from our church, had better be teaching God’s sacred truth! Otherwise they have no right to bear the name of an institution designed to radically train and equip our younger members to carry the Three Angel’s Message to all the world in this generation. Satan is no dummy! He attacked Moses as a baby. He attacked Jesus as a baby. And he loves nothing more than to destroy Adventist children before they can ever take hold of and carry the Creator’s message to the whole world.

Educate truth, Please keep these issues before the public and help us to know the full resolve of this situation. We want to know what is happening at any school called by the same name as God’s last day church! Let’s not lose sight of what’s happening at La Sierra. I think a similar accountability for all of our schools to every Adventist member is in order. We must be assured of the Spiritual condition of every institution we might choose to send our kids to…and take NOTHING for granted!! The USDA assures meat consumers of the quality of every meat product so that the consumers know their getting the quality food they are paying for. Why not Adventist Education?!!!! The stakes are too high and eternally lasting to not ensure that we’re getting the spiritual training required to survive as an SDA Christian in this disgusting world of sin! What are we eating?! Let’s check it out!

I know for a fact, that we have other serious problems in other of our colleges. Having just graduated in 2009 I was quite attune to some of the problems. Not every place is so bad. But, in my own experience at PUC I had problems. Certainly, not every teacher or anything. But I do find it disturbing when a Professor from the History department holds a public forum on our campus (2004/2005) and describes to all of our students how we need to “re-evaluate our eschatology” and how the 1st beast of Revelation 13 or the harlot of Revelation 17 “doesn’t” point out the papal church as a danger to the Christian faith. It gets even more disturbing to me when the head pastor of the college church is sitting in that public forum and says nothing at all; then afterward he comes over to congratulate me for expressing my “views” at the meeting…but how he doesn’t exactly agree with me. Okay then. Are we not all SDA’s then? [edit – off topic]

Is this not disturbing to anyone else besides me? We must have far more accountability in these matters at our schools. We should draw these matters out in the open.

Educate Truth, please continue your work to ensure “full disclosure” of the issues happening at our schools. People love to hide in the darkness of sin…and none of them want to “come to the light, lest their deeds should be reproved!!!!” (Jesus, John 3). If their behavior was so “innocent” why then should they complain that we must ensure fully intact and consistent Adventist education? They attempt to fulfill and please all of the world’s standards and requests; they make every effort to comply with the requests of their “accreditation bodies.” They love to please the world. How about pleasing God and their organizational employer–the SDA church? WASC tries to be thorough in their quality inspection. Our schools submit to that…no problem! Why not a faith and practice inspection? Why don’t we ensure that God’s message is actually taught and upheld? And if not, then drastic reform or amputation needs to happen. Is the school doing God’s work like it should, or is it helping the devil? If the latter, it cannot have the support or approval of God’s church in the slightest!

Thank you Educate Truth for the work you are doing bring these issues to light! We’ve needed this for a long time!
