It is no wonder our “church” is in the condition …

Comment on A “Christian Agnostic”? by Wayne.

It is no wonder our “church” is in the condition it is in. It is a crying shame that someone of Mr. Taylor’s “status” should be allowed to teach or even lecture at any place but a secular school. But as I have stated over the years that this website has been in existence, if it weren’t for the compromise of accreditation in our schools, not to mention accepting government funding and tuition aid, and the church in general had not broken away from the “blueprint” we would not be having these discussions. As “Uncle Arthur” said in Volume I of the Bible Story “Sad, Bad Days”! “As the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matt. 24:37. “Take heed that no man deceive you.” Matt 24:4

Mr. Taylor apparently has the “form of godliness, but denying the power thereof” 2 Tim. 3:5 “From such turn away.” 2 Tim 3:5

The officials of the Adventist church from the top down, including the educational institutions will be responsible for any lost souls who learned from the people who are teaching them error.

When I came into the truth that the Adventist church taught back in the ’70’s, I made a committment to the truth in the Bible not the church, and I, today will stand on the truth of the scriptures, not what the “church” teaches, or any educational institution. One is to compare what the truth is by the scriptures not the scriptures by what some “scientist” says. Because it is all “science so-called”. If not “they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Tim. 4:4.

May God have mercy on those who are teaching such things and may they become converted and accept eternal life. There is NO fence sitting. Either you are on the side of Christ or the side of the devil. There is no middle ground.

NCSE Report: Adventist Education in the Midst of a Sea of Science
Isn’t it interesting how, in this article, the church is illustrated as “cultish” by saying that our children are kept and taught from birth through university in sabbath school, VBS, etc. and then he says that only 50% are accepted into schools of higher learning. He doesn’t mention anything about the choice each one has to stay or go. I don’t know if T. Joe Willey is an Adventist or not (from Art Chadwicks comment it appears he is/was), but just knowing that he graduated from UC Berkeley says a lot.

I am reminded of a statement that says “Science that is not in harmony with Him is of no value. He teaches us to count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus or Lord. This knowledge is the highest science that any man can reach.” BC vol. 6, p 1068

I too, hope with Sean that it will inspire our leadership to do something, even if it is to cut our losses (meaning LSU and any others) and move on. “As is was in the days of Noah, so shall it be….”

La Sierra Univeristy Fires Dr. Lee Greer; Signs anti-Creation Bond
It is a shame that all this time and energy is wasted on this political “hot topic”. We have a “heaven to win and a hell to shun”. Is this getting the job done? It appears to me that we have lost focus on what is eternal and have gone to the temporal. There is a reason that Vance Farrell wrote The Broken Blueprint. If we as a church had not gone to accrediting in the first place we wouldn’t be in this situation and perhaps Jesus would have come. Satan is jubilant over all the in-fighting and distraction going on here. Why must we give in to him?

Personally, I think the boards of any of our institutions need to be replaced by Godly interested people and get out of the $$$ mentality. Will the Godly men and women please step forward? And while we’re at it let us pray for the conversion of these people. It is not God’s will that any should perish, but even He had to get Israel’s attention with some rather stiff punishments. Even if that means firing the whole lot including the “tenured” ones. Who in the world ever created tenure in the first place? Did that not come out of secular institutions? Why do we want to be so pagan? Why do we desire to be like the world? Israel’s downfall was their desire to be like all the nations around them, so God gave them Saul to be king instead of having God lead them. What a sad state of affairs we are in. And if anyone wonders why some consider the SDA church Babylon, look no further. We have created the image by such secularism. The problem is that the young people who hope to get a good Adventist education are caught in the middle and are polarized to one side or the other. Parents are trusting that these institutions are truly Adventist
and they are not.

I will be on my knees “sighing and crying for the abominations coming upon this world” Read Ezekiel 9. Anyone care to join me?

In Christs love.

Southern Adventist University opens Origins Exhibit
It is nice to see that SAU wants to be the head and not the tail, as God would want it for our institutions. Unfortunately it seems that LSU and others who want to teach the worldly way would rather be the tail. [edit] I surely don’t want to be the tail of anything, thank you very much.

Praise the Lord for SAU and their commitment to the truth.

LSU Board says ‘we apologize’
What Professor Kent and others are missing is that the Seventh-day Adventist Church as well as all of it’s educational institutions are all a CORPORATION. If one were to work for a CORPORATION such as Microsoft, IBM, etc., and were not doing the job they were hired for they would be fired. As a CORPORATION the SDA church should do no less. All employees of the church and its various institutions are only CORPORATE employees. If you don’t believe me go look at the name on the conference office. It says SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA CORPORATION OF SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS. If you want to see the CORPORATION at work, just use the name SDA or SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST for an independent ministry and see how fast they sue you. Unfortunately the infiltration mentioned is true. The CATHOLIC CHURCH CORPORATION wants to see nothing less than the true message of the scriptures made of none-effect, and what better way to do that than to present fable as truth. The advent messsage has been the truth since 1844 and Satan has used men like Canright, Kellogg, Ford, and anyone else including professors and “God’s appointed shepards” to discredit and water down the true message for this time.

Should these professors be fired? Absolutely. Should the “leaders” of the conference be fired for not upholding the fundamental teachings of the Adventist church? Absolutely. These men and or women who teach anything other than the undiluted three angles messages are only CORPORATE employees. Fire them. We have not heard much from the President of the General Conference lately, has he backed down?

LSU Board says ‘we apologize’
Concerning the “apology” by the LSU board. That is cheap talk. It’s only a way of getting the heat off the situation. If they were truly sorry and repentant there would be changes made. Otherwise it is only political rhetoric. It’s kind of like a thief apologizing after he got caught. This University has stolen from the constituents of each church by taking their hard earned money for the truth they thought was being taught and giving a lie in return. Perhaps they should be sued for fraud?
