Comment on Creationist students find little support from LSU by Dale Fuhrmeister.

The confrontation between Grismer and Bishop in this article reminds me of something I read about a few years ago and saved in my files. Here it is;

On Nov. 24, 2008, Los Angeles City College speech professor John Matteson interrupted and ended Jonathan Lopez’s presentation mid-speech, calling him a “fascist” for speaking about his faith, which included reading the dictionary definition of marriage and reciting two Bible verses. Matteson told the other students they could leave if they were offended. When no one left, Matteson dismissed the class. Refusing to grade the assigned speech, Matteson wrote on Lopez’s evaluation, “Ask God what your grade is.” — Jennifer Mesko, CitizenLink.com, 02/12/09

Do you see any difference? Quote a bible text and the faculty member flies into a blind rage. I don’t see a difference, and it is typcal of liberals and other losers. When they know that they cannot win a fair debate, they resort to condescending remarks to make it look like their opponents remarks are not worth responding to, when in fact they have no rational response to the challenge without having to admit they have been wrong. This is classic elitism and it should not be tolerated at all on any SDA campus of any kind anywhere. It is opposite of the biblical humilty that should be modeled by teachers at all levels of our educational system.

If a SDA student can be exposed to the same condescension at a secular campus for his beliefs, why not attend there and save a ton of money?

A “Christian Agnostic”?
“Professing to be wise, they became fools” –Romans 1:22,NKJV

So typical of liberals. Caught red handed so they lash out rather than accept the blame for what they did. And this is will cost MY CHURCH big money in the process. Talk about intimidation (as in the court document). Doesn’t this intimidate the church into not firing anymore of these fools even though they should have long ago?

Honest thieves
Ever since the French Revolution, people with the same ideology have been on these shores trying to infiltrate the colleges of our land. This began in the early 1800’s, and is probably resposible in part of the fall of Babylon as we understand it. Bacause of the fact that colleges and universities in the US were all Christian at that time, they no doubt had to pose as Chrisitain or at be least amenable to Christian like beliefs. So today, people who worship the “godess of reason” are in our churches and institutions trying to lead the innocent and uninformed astray. Is it any wonder that you almost never hear anyone teach about Revelation 11 anymore? When I attended AFCOE (Amazing Facts Center of Evangelism), they taught that Revelation 10 and 11 are in contrast to each other. Chapter 10 being God’s movement for the last days, and chapter 11 being one of Satan’s movements for the last days. I am afraid that we have become so focused on the sea beast of chapter 13, that we have about totally forgotten about the beast that rises out of the bottomless pit, whose movement is still alive and well today. I believe that these people who are teaching error at LSU share that same ideology as those who we are warned aganst in Revelation 11.

Don’t judge me!
In the bible we have a record of the kind of people who use the “judge not” defense for their indefensible actions in at least two places.
Genesis 19:4-9 where the Sodomites (or as I call them, the homosexual activists) accuse Lot of judging them (v.9) for condemning their wickedness.
Exodus 2:13-14 says clearly that the “one who did the wrong” says to Moses who was reproving him “who made you a prince and a judge over us?”
Take a long hard look at these texts and ask yourself “do we really want to follow their examples?”
No where in the bible do Godly people use such a defense! It always those trying to avoid accountability for their actions who do this!

Perspectives from alleged LSU students
Excuse me Micheal, but you are the one on the fringe on this issue, NOT we who believe what the bible says about creation. You have been duped and need to have your mind freed from the “MATRIX” of lies you have bought into.
Ever seen the movie “Expelled; No Intelligence Allowed”? It is a documentary about the intolerance of those in academia toward anyone who even hints that there may be some truth in the intelligent design theory. It leaves you with the impression that this is as much a religion as Christianity, only with no hope for the future. And it is the same religion as was started in the French Revolution, worshipping the Godess of Reason. Is this your god, Michael? Either God or Reason is true, you can’t have it both ways. Which one do you think will win in the end? My bets are on the one who has never lied and always keeps His promises. I hope you will do the same someday.
