Comment on Clifford Goldstein: Seventh-day Darwinians, Redux by Sudhir K. Pandit, MD.

Mr. Goldstein deserves much applause for his fearless expose` of the theistic evolutionists in our midst. More men in responsible positions need to take their unswerving places beside him. Not only are the concepts or beliefs of these “Darwinians” so utterly reprehensible and preposterous from a rational standpoint, but they deal an irreparable blow to the truth of Adventism and the Three Angels’ Messages, where we are called to worship a Creator God on the Sabbath based on His bringing everything into existence in six literal days. It would seem to me that simple honesty would dictate that these men who attempt to paint God as a heartless monster by their evolutionary teachings, should voluntarily leave our ranks and join a communion where they would be more welcome. Failing their voluntary departure, I believe the larger body of believers has a role to weed out these sorry elements, lest they contaminate the minds of our young people with their heresy.

New NAD president: ‘I love you’ doesn’t mean we won’t deal with issues
A most refreshing breath of conservative air seems to be blowing in the Adventist Church in the likes of Elders Jackson and Wilson. However, if the history of the Jewish church is any guide, and if the Spirit of Prophecy is to be believed, the reigns of Josiah and Hezekiah served merely to postpone the inevitable judgments of God against a nation with deep seated rebellion in its ranks. We need to always remember that not everyone professing Adventism will stand on the Sea of Glass someday, singing the Song of Moses and the Lamb, but only the “remnant” who will have endured the apostasy. May God grant us grace to be numbered among this “small company.”
As an aside it might be mentioned too that Elder Jackson’s reference to “faith” in his “dogmatic” position on the Genesis account of creation, is nothing more or less than his being totally honest and rational. Those who espouse Evolutionism, of whatever stripe, even while appealing to “science,” take a quantum leap in rationality and logic beyond anything that Bible based faith calls for. Since there were no human witnesses to the origins of the universe, we are inevitably forced to have “faith” of one kind or another. And I don’t have enough “faith” to be either an Atheist or an Evolutionist!
May God bless Elders Jackson and Wilson and all the leaders of their genre.

Student reveals true intent of LSU’s biology seminar class
The statement by the Administration of LSU that “La Sierra University has never, and will never discipline a student for holding Seventh-day Adventist beliefs, Never!…,” rings incredibly vacuous to me. You would think that there was something sinister about holding to SDA doctrines for which discipline was really called for – except for the broad minded, tolerant concession of the authorities! Amazing indeed! And to think that their charter is supposedly that of a Seventh-day Adventist institution! A great deal more is revealed about the attitude of the authorities to truth and righteousness by this clever attempt to obfuscate the facts, than they would probably care to acknowledge.
