I am a Young Earth Creationist, not because I have …

Comment on Panda’s Thumb: ‘SDAs are split over evolution’ by Juan Sabater.

I am a Young Earth Creationist, not because I have scientific proof for it but because I choose to trust the Word of God, Jesus Christ Himself, the Word that became flesh, who was, is and will be.
The evolution theory teaches that all living creatures “evolved” from simpler organisms and these simple organism “evolved” from organic molecules (ARN) which just “appeared” from simpler organic molecules which resulted from reactions of inorganic elements. And if you ask these “scientists” that promote this “scientific consensus” where the inorganic elements come from they’ll probably talk about the “Big Bang” theory,… another theory.
God’s fourth commandment states:”Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy…for in six days The Lord made the heaven and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day…” God’s next commandment states:”Honor your father and your mother”.
I belong to a church that honors our Heavenly Father by keeping His holy Sabbath as a remembrance of His act of creation. And that church is staying pure till His advent. Let us pray for His cleansing fire, He is faithful.”The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire” Isa 4:4.
“Who, then, is the faithful and wise servant? The master will put that person in charge of giving the other servants their food at the right time.” Mat 24:45.

LSU student petition surfaces
@ Benjamin Burkhardt and Professor Kent- I thank God for Mr. Burkhardt’s answer. I’ve been reading Kent’s comments on this site and see nothing but deception in them. The devil himself when tempting Jesus used the Scriptures. But the scriptures are self explaining if you seek Truth.
In his comment Kent says the student’s “internal petition” was “respectful and appropriate”. It is clear that he wants this matter to be kept “internal” in LSU and so he shows bitterness and disdain towards Educate Truth and its supporters(quotes from his comments to another article “you don’t get it” “you simply don’t understand” “you’re not an academic, though you likely think otherwise”).
But in the next paragraph of that same comment he states the students’ approach was “relatively harmless”, so is he saying there was some harm made by petitioning for what’s expected at an SDA institution? He also says “too bad the administration was not more responsive”, to a harmful petition? Seems like a contradiction. Those students and Educate Truth are on the same side. Logic is fundamental to true science.
God is one…and Mr Kent sounds like a legion.
Finally Mr. Kent quotes Scripture… but absolutely out of context! So humanities are not his strength either. Mr. Kent is using all his “might” and “power” but these are not as mighty or powerful as Mr. Burkhardt’s. Thank our almighty God, ever merciful.
“My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. You have not spoken the truth about me as my servant Job has.”(Job 42:8)

Student reveals true intent of LSU’s biology seminar class
Hello Louie,

I am a member of your church family in Murrieta and we can be proud of you.

It takes courage to stand against the establishment, and it is mind-blowing that this kind of establishment is being supported by our institutions. They need to wake up, Jesus warned us to “keep watch”.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in applied science and believe in the account of the book of Genesis on creation in a literal way. Main stream science is perverted by theory upon theory that were never proved. I recommend anybody interested in better scientific theories to visit “www.creationscience.com”. And still these are also theories and we have to be humble about what we can prove as truth.

To me this is a lie:”The fittest shall survive and evolve.”

And this is the truth: “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”

Jesus makes me fit for eternal life.

Thanks again for your efforts and courage, which I believe are pleasing to our Lord as He is glorified.

Your brother in Christ,
Juan Sabater.
