Victor Marshall, You’re absolutely correct. Dictators generally LOVE “Darwinism” as it gives them an “excuse” to eliminate all those “weaker” subspecies and races in order to have THEIR “higher evolved” group “improve” the human race.

Those who make an issue of this ignore this very simple truth: As shown in the book of Revelation, Jesus plans to take the land and lives of billions of human beings regardless of age when Christ comes again. He did the same sort of thing with the flood. To indict the Bible and the people of God for acts that are similar is to indict God. I would suggest that those who do this are in deep dangerous water. Sort of takes your breath away to think of the foolishness of man-sized power and reasoning taking on the All-knowing Almighty Living God.

Such types of secular humanistic philosophy is fairly, common, even in the SDA Church. Man is smarter wiser, and more “loving” than God, and Man can “analyze” God’s Word, plans, and actions, in order to see if God is “worthy” of being worshiped. Thus, as you say, Man can “indict” God. Once indicted, God can be “judged” by whatever humanistic philosophy one adheres to. Maybe God ISN’T so holy after all!

Dangerous waters? Quite true!

Clifford Goldstein: Seventh-day Darwinians, Redux

Anyone who reads the Bible will see that, especially under Moses and Joshua, the Israelites invaded, plundered, pillaged, took the lands of their neighbors and also took some of them as slaves! …

So, Mahabir, Are you saying God is or was “cruel?” Are you in the position to “judge” God and his actions? If so, you will have many places in the Bible to “judge” God. Or do you just throw out those sections as “noninspired” or actually not true?

The undermining of scripture has been going on for years in Adventism…

You’re right on target, Bill. The “Gospel of Pluralism” and the “Gospel of Inclusion” are nowhere to be found in scripture, except in the fantasy minds of progressives!

Pacific Union College Encouraging Homosexual Marriage?
This is the typical garbage that has been coming out of PUC for many years. People wonder why our colleges are losing students, despite the fact that we take more and more non-SDAs each year.

My Goal for La Sierra University

The reason the LaSierra situation has gone uncorrected so long is that most of our administrators have exactly the sort of political instincts that Dan Jackson has. They are politicians and consensus builders; they want to keep the peace and make the trains run on time. But the circumstances call for men of principle, hard men who are willing to stand for the right “though the heavens fall,” i.e., regardless who is offended and loudly complains.

Dave, I agree with you. Jackson’s trying to play on “both teams” is not going to go well for him.

Unfortunately, politics is the “SOP” of many of our SDA officials, Jackson being just one. “Political instincts” are the rule, instead of actually doing what is “right” according to what we know in God’s Word.

Bradley, Beach and Kaatz retain attorney

Shane Hilde: Think big fish: LSU or the Seventh-day Adventist Church.Graham might not have followed procedure with these men, but I don’t know what the procedure is. I’ve read what the process is in the faculty handbook, but I don’t know if that applies to administrative positions which are at will employees. If it does apply to them, then it appears the process was not followed.

Trustees book says, in 6,9,F, that the Trustes may “discontinue” virtually anyone working at the university.

Does that mean to “fire” or to “force their resignation? Seems like it does.
