I have read many very good comments here. My question …

Comment on Adventists are virtually silent by Gwen Sokata.

I have read many very good comments here. My question to all is, ‘since we are the PEOPLE of the book’, we either believe God’s Word in text (in it’s entirety) and made flesh in the person of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, or we don’t, we cannot pick and choose.

What is taught to our children/young people at all levels is paramount to what and who we are as a people, God’s remnant people. We MUST stand in the gap, for the salvation of all who believe in & seek Jesus. So many of our young people are leaving the fold, many due to inconsistancy from their parents/teachers/church family, etc. We have a duty to teach them truth, biblical truth.

I was not raised an Adventist, I am amazed at what we as a church/family has, the present truth that we have been blessed with, is something worth standing up for, it is a blessing! Shame on us if we do not stand up for what is true and right.

Make a call to the GC, I did, let them know that you are concerned in regards to this all important issue. Whether we realize it or not, it has an agenda to erode the very foundations of biblical truth. Share this issue with all your church family, that all will know and be able to stand with us, shoulder to shoulder to stand in the gap. We cannot let the devil take the upper hand any longer. God bless each of us as we put this issue to prayer & go to war with the apparent evils of darkness, WE are at war.

Ephesians 6:12, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

God bless us all with strength, wisdom to always stand for truth.

Gwen

Student reveals true intent of LSU’s biology seminar class
I thank God for young people like you Louie. May God continue to give you strength as you stand in the gap. And those that are our ‘watchmen on the wall’ should be ashamed to have let you stand alone, ashamed to not have nipped this in the bud years ago. We all know that this is something that did not just rear its ugly head yesterday. I do not have an Adventist education, I wish I did. Our education system is a gift & we need to make sure that it says true to biblical teachings, anything other than that is a work of the devil.
Please know that you are not alone in your fight, may each of us sound the alarm, make our voices heard, that our leadership has no option but to act & act quickly. If we do not stand for something, we will fall for anything. God bless you Louie!!!!

Creationist students find little support from LSU
The more I read about this situation, the more I say ‘Shame on us’ as a church/parents/supporters/believers/brothers/sisters, for not putting an end to this blatant disregard for our young peoples spiritual well being. As brother Dale just said:

If a SDA student can be exposed to the same condescension at a secular campus for his beliefs, why not attend there and save a ton of money?

We need to be heard, we need to contact the GC in support of a literal 6-day creation, as the Oroville, CA church has done, request fundamental belief #6 reflect that. Get on the phone, call the GC, if enough of us call with our concerns something will be done. As the old saying goes, ‘The squeeky wheel gets the oil’. We shall be heard. May God pour out His Spirit upon His remnant church that we will stand for what is right & true, may we stand in the gap for our young people the world over.
God bless!!!!

LSU student writes about controversy
@Thomas:
Brother Thomas, I do see your point. What happens to a barrel of water when only 1 drop of arsentic is added? The whole barrel is tainted.
Isaiah 8:20 ‘To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
If this gangrene cannot be cured, amputation may be the only alternative.

We as Seventh-Day Adventist Christians, are to uphold the bible as God’s true Word, that is our standard, and we need to stand for what is right. Jesus stood up for us & died on the cross that we may have the right to choose life in Him or death with satan. I choose life. We cannot support this kind of error being taught in our schools, our young people deserve better from us.
Proverbs 22:6, Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
If we do not train him/her correctly, what foundation do they have? Let us lift our voices to be heard, that we will stand for this NO more. Our leadership needs to act & act now.

Thank you Jesus, give us strength to stand in the gap……..
