Bob, It remains a mystery to my why you insist on equating evolution with athiesm. Evolution is a statement about how living organisms change from generation to generation. Athiesm is a statement about whether God is involved in the process. Those two concepts aren’t totaly separeate, and independent issues.

Also your references to evolution as life coming from organic material, or birds coming from reptiles is totally irrelevant. Life doesn’t need to come from inorganic material, and we don’t need birds to come from dinasaurs, because we already have birds, and we see that the birds we have are continuing to evolve. All life that we know of today is in the process of evolving.

The hinge of our faith
Shannon, I don’t think you can equate a philosoophical, or scientific idea, with bigotry or hate speech. Of course we should oppose anything that is hurtful to another human being. That is in fact why I am opposing the intent if this web sight. It is hurtfull to the students and teachers at LSU, and it is hurtful to the principle of free speach, and religious freedom that we as Adventists support.

Lawrence Geraty, Fritz Guy, and the Framing of Fundamental Belief #6
[…] While this may come as a surprise to some, this wording was carefully crafted, in 1980, by the “Committee of Twelve”, specifically by Dr. Lawrence Geraty, in an effort to be more “inclusive” of those in the church who favor the Darwinian notion that life has existed and evolved on this planet over the course of hundreds of millions of years.  According to Dr. Fritz Guy, this “more Biblical” wording allows for the interpretation that the “days” of creation may be figuratively understood and may be viewed as representing vast periods of time (The Framing of FB#6). Mandates vs. Religious Exemptions
[…] Now, one is free to simply stay at home where, contrary to the claims of Pastor Vine, there are no vaccine mandates in this country. Vaccine mandates, as with most other government laws and mandates, deal with social situations where personal freedoms affect the freedoms and liberties of others.  And, when that happens, personal liberties can no longer be exercised with complete freedom of will in any orderly civil society. In other words, the real question is where to draw the line between allowing personal liberties and protecting the noses of others from those liberties? (Link) […]
