Some have been asking why we need accreditation at all. Why not just dispense with it? Of course then the graduates would not be accepted into medical school at Loma Linda etc. etc. The whole history of how we got into this situation as presented by Dave Fiedler in his book “Hindsight” makes a very interesting read.
