We must be in earnest prayer for Elder Wilson as …

Comment on Ted Wilson: “We will not flinch. We will not be deterred.” by Pastor Dan Shafer.

We must be in earnest prayer for Elder Wilson as he has stated his position; one which will not and is not popular with the “progressive” element within leadership. We must hold up his hands as he moves forward in face of serious opposition. Has he been sent for such an hour as this? Only time will tell. May God be with Elder Wilson, and may he be comforted and strengthened through difficult times.

CCC Requests “Decisive and Conclusive Resolution” from LSU
The patience of the Central California Conference is admirable. However, the time has come for decisive action. “The time has come when we should sigh and cry for all the abominations that are done in the land”. The attacks of Satan MUST be met with the truth of God’s Word. Falsehood must be unmasked, its true character revealed, and the light of the law of Jehovah must shine forth. 3T281 says: “If God abhors one sin above another of which His people are guilty, it is doing nothing in case of an emergency”. I believe that the honest in heart Seventh-day Adventists who adhere to the fundamental of the faith would echo my conviction that we are experiencing a serious time of great emergency in our institutions of education.

Creationist students find little support from LSU
@Cindy LouDear Cindy, I’m not an accuser of the “Brethren”. We must understand who is the “Brethren”. Biblically speaking, it means a “brother”.
Was Lucifer a brother when he was removed? Were the money changers brothers when they were removed? Many other examples can be cited.
Let’s stop slobbering around with all these “Warm Fuzzies” while our youth are being influenced by the agencies of Satan. Pastor Dan

Creationist students find little support from LSU
@Cindy Lou: Cindy is making it sound as though “WE” are the ones who can destroy the entire institution. We are only trying to protect our young people from those who ‘WOULD’ destroy the Institution. This is the “Let’s protect the Villain and prosecute the victims” attitude.Pastor Dan

Schneider talks about La Sierra
@Sean Pitman, M.D.: Well stated, Sean. I believe the problem is a desire to be “accepted” by those of other beliefs because there is not a firm commitment to such an unpopular standard, and the need to feel a part of the evangelical community is so overwhelmingly. As one conference president put it: “Pastor Dan, I need to make everyone happy and kept under the same umbrella.” My response was: “The Truth brings division; it separates truth from error. Compromise never brings unity.”

Schneider talks about La Sierra
What a shameful response from one who is supposed to be the leader of the North American Division. Brother Schneider, I might strongly suggest that “those with differing opinion” can be used in a powerful way to destroy our young people, and even our beloved church. You are encouraging us to support this kind of non-biblical nonsense, while making light of faithful SDA students who believe the truths of God’s Word. The camel of Satan’s sophistry no longer has his head in the tent. The camel is safely inside and destroying all that is true.
