Comment on PUC Professor: The Noachian Flood was just a local flood? by Lisa.

@Ervin: In my experience the half dozen professors that promote these things at PUC are far from intellectually honest. They dogmatically push their views on 18-year-old minds and ignore all other evidence, far more forcefully than Ness is even doing here.

Here’s Sean website with evidence that is posted beneath his name every time her writes to anybody.

PUC Professor: The Noachian Flood was just a local flood?

Educate Truth is not supported or affiliated with 3ABN or any other organization affiliated or associated with the SDA Church or any other church. This website is the result of the effort of a few concerned individuals who believe that at the very least parents, students, and the SDA Church membership at large have a right to know what our youth are being taught in our own schools…

Thanks for the clarity Sean. I guess it was just hearsay or an assumption after seeing you and Asscherick on a 3ABN interview. However, as far as I see, many organization within the church definitely support the views of this website because they are none other than the views of the Seventh-day Adventist church expressed in the fundamental beliefs. Keep it up.

Excuse me. Educate Truth does NOT represent the SDA Church. Educate Truth does NOT pay the salary of any SDA professor.

EducateTruth is supported by 3ABN I believe, and privately, I know of several church officials that back up the site. Also, I’m a lay person and I don’t directly pay the professors either, but my tithes do. So, do I have no right to complain?

And by the way, my tuition paid for PUC too.

Panda’s Thumb: ‘SDAs are split over evolution’
@ Professor Kent, Eddie and others:

I have attended PUC and know that there are teachers who push evolution because I sat in their classrooms. I also know of a professor that was scolded by a superior for stating that evolution is not compatible with the Bible during a class devotional. I find it utterly ridiculous that people refuse to listen to students or plain evidence that is presented. While Dr. Ness seems to come off as a creationist often, he clearly showed himself to be a theistic evolutionist in this 40 minute, unedited class lecture. I even remember meeting him at college days before I attended PUC and having him tell both my mom and I that theistic evolution was a plausible explanation for how we exist. These beliefs are compatible with what I encountered in the honors program as well. I urge you to listen to the students; we are the ones that know what is going on. And by watching the video, you are able to see and hear what we are taught in classes.

Panda’s Thumb: ‘SDAs are split over evolution’
@Colin Maunder:

I would not be an sda {or even a Christian} if I believed the evidence was not in agreement with the Bible. As I have followed these discussions on this site I have been amazed at Sean’s calmness, and ability to answer the unrelenting tirades against him. I learn so much from educatetruth. Thank you guys

Yeah, that’s how I felt when I took a class from a guy named Roberto Biaggi in the SDA university in Argentina! He’s a geologist and studied at WWC and LLU and he’s an incredible creationist scientist! I was blown away by how much evidence truly does exist and I was left totally confused when I came back to PUC to find science professors who seemed totally ignorant to the things he knew–astonishing.

“As men see that they cannot maintain their position by the Scriptures, many determine to maintain it at all hazards, and with a malicious spirit they assail the character and motives of those who stand in defense of unpopular truth. It is the same policy which has been pursued in all ages.” Great Controversy pg. 458

Our beloved Church & all leadership especially need our prayer support as we near the edge of the greatest storm of human history soon to be upon us….Evolution WILL be a dominant catalyst to initiate this greatest storm! Creation and Creation’s “Memorial Day” WILL be the dominant theme / test of choice during this greatest storm!

This is a solid point. It is becoming very obvious that many are no longer considering the testimonies. Within our church, members are fulfilling the end day prophecies.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires.” 2 Tim. 4:3

Note: the text says: “sound doctrine.”

Something I think that everyone seems to be missing on this topic is that we as students are not children, and are not so impressionable that if we’re taught something different, it’s going to affect us so adversely. We’re adults, and are quite past the age of responsibility.

@Samantha Owens: I was recently a student too, and you need to understand that we do not exhibit the ability to discern the truth always. The PhDs are influential, no doubt about it, and there were freshmen in the room–young kinds–that don’t critically assess what the professors say. All of these comments by students prove they aren’t assessing this situation as well. Very few are even looking at the video. Their post-modern minds are just making it a personal issue.
