Comment on Walla Walla University: The Collegian Debates Evolution vs. Creation by Holly Pham.
-Shining: Who could have guessed, when we were young, that we would lose our schools, not by exterior attack but internal decay? I will not respond to individual comments. Everything of a specific nature has been said on other blogs. I will only pen my grief. I know enough young people to already be aware of problems in most of our NAD schools, but I did not fathom how deep and wide the cancer has become. My brothers and sisters, those who believe in Gen 1-11 and Rev 14, watch and pray. Let none steal your faith or witness. Maranatha, -Shining
You are so correct. Our educational institutions are being destroyed, not by external forces, but by the very “leaders” we have placed there. The very same thing holds true for some of our Conferences and even some SDA Churches.
And, the most embarrassing thing is that it falls upon people like Sean, Shane, and others to actually point this out, as we see virtually no “leaders” (except for a few like Doug Bathchelor, Stephen Bohr, Walter Veith, etc.) speaking up on acting on these matters.

Great answer, Bob. What we don’t see is what evolutionists want us to believe is really happening today and has been happening for millions of years. They can’t show it, show an actual functional mechanism for it, but still believe it has happened and is happening. What a wonderful fairy tale!

Shining:How could anything be more clear?Only those who want to be blind can not see the light in this statement.
Those who choose to believe men’s philosophy over God’ Truth do not appear to be blind but have chosen the wrong “path” as Jesus stated in the Bible.

Sean Pitman:
@Ron:Then you haven’t read much of what Mrs. White wrote. She did indeed advocate removing people from the SDA church who no longer supported its primary goals and ideals… who refused to do what they were being paid to do.She even recommended cutting ties with Battle Creek college when it started opposing the church’s position on various issues (Link).

Well stated, Sean. The idea that we should accept and sit idly by while [some] attack our SDA Church from within is supported by those who wish to destroy our Church from the inside. And we have many, especially out here in California, who are eagerly and in some cases successfully doing it.

Thanks Sean for telling us the “rest of the story!” Very interesting!

What exactly does “more inclusive” mean? The Northern California Conference uses this term in their literature, without explaining what it really means.

@David Read, Can ET or Advindicate get an interview with somebody who actually knows, first hand, what went on with this AAA accreditation? What “deals” were made and by whom, why, and with what “strings” attached?

@Sean Pitman, I agree with the lack of transparency at LLU and virtually anywhere in our SDA system. The hiding behind closed doors is rampant, not only at LLU, but on the Conference level, Union, and even the GC. Try to ask anybody a really specific question. All you get is either nothing or another set of vague responses. Try it some time, and you will see what I mean.

Any insiders know WHY this happened? Was it part of a “deal” with AAA for accreditation?
